We began our year with excited anticipation ahead of drupa 2020. Alongside our plans for the event, we continued installing presses at new customers’ sites around the globe, and hosting a succession of events and demonstrations of our Nanographic printing presses in production at several customer sites.

Then the unimagined. The arrival of the coronavirus is now affecting us all, and clearly these are very challenging times for everyone. Recently, Messe Düsseldorf announced the postponement of drupa untill April 2021. We believe the organizers made the right decision and we fully support it. Until then, at Landa we are committed to further growing our installed base of customers, as well as maintaining the highest level of support for our customers and partners all over the world.

The last few months have been busy for us at Landa. We are thrilled to welcome Simian B.V. and Keystone Paper & Box to our expanding global family:

The Landa S10P installation at Simian will be our first in the Netherlands. CEO Wouter Haan announced their purchase to the local printing industry at the Vakdag Print and Sign event, ascribing their choice to the color vibrancy and unmatched print. Simian is a growing company, whose customer base stands at around the half million mark.

Keystone Paper & Box Company, based in Connecticut, also announced their purchase of a Landa S10 Nanographic printing press. According to company president, James Rutt, Keystone aims to move 50-60% of its high-end beverage, pharmaceutical, medical device and consumer packaging jobs to the Landa S10, the company’s first digital press.

We welcomed guests from all over Europe to view our presses in production during open house events at Landa customer sites in Switzerland and the UK. Guests had the opportunity to hear our partners from Bluetree Group and Schelling AG talk about their experience with their Landa presses so far.

Despite the unexpected disruption, we are looking ahead. We are continuing to roll out more presses, run demos remotely and produce test files for printers interested in our capabilities.
